This is a blog about my journey with msp430 launchpad. In this blog I will share my experience with the microcontroller. I'll be uploading the projects that I do using msp430 family as well as the concepts that I learn along way. I came to know about the controller from my brother. Before that I knew just about arduino. The main disadvantage with arduino is that its costly and the controller itself is SMD; thus one needs to use the board as it is in projects. I like msp430 controller because of two main reasons. First is that it is available in PDIP package and second that one can get free samples every once in a while. These two reasons make a lot of difference for student experimenters, because the budget is limited and we like to do everything on a breadboard or make compact PCB's. Plus my professor also encouraged me to learn this controller. So here I am, writing my first blog ever. Hope to gain knowledge from others as well as to spread whatever I know and will learn in future.
